Today, I went to a coffee shop with my friend. The guy rang her up and said it was only a dollar as he winked at her $10 purchase. Then he rang me up at completely full price. She got his number and I got to be the ugly friend once again. FML

Today, I saw a cute girl working register at my regular coffee shop and politely asked the her for her number. I was brutally rejected. A few minutes later, a douchebag with a popped collar approached her with a cheesy pickup line and left with not only her number, but a free frappe. FML

Today, after talking to the man whose car I scratched, we agreed that the damages and cost of repair were so low and instead of me paying I just buy him coffee. When I showed up he saw me, decided I was too ugly to have coffee with, and instead demanded full payment in cash. FML

Honestly, it's a lot easier to find a nice guy if you don't look like a supermodel. People will be more likely to look at what's inside :) Believe me, my sister's always been "the pretty sister," and she's had a lot of boy trouble that I haven't had to deal with. You also can't let the opinion of one guy make you think you're not pretty, though. Everyone has different tastes, and besides, when you really know and like someone, they become beautiful to you. No matter what they look like.
