Today, I went to a fastfood restaurant to pick up food for my work party. I ordered 250 chicken fingers, 15 orders of fries, and 2 gallons of tea, and the guy behind the counter asked, "Is this for here or to go?" FML

This isn't even a fml. This is something that should be on Ifunny. Not on this.

Sometimes they are required to say that as part of their company's policy.

Could be a habit to just ask it. Where I work you always have to ask if it is "for here or to go" so he most likely said it out of habit.

They're probably required to ask that about every order.

That's not an FML moment, that's a Bill Engvall's "Here's Your Sign" moment.

The guy's just doing his job. he's required to ask that no matter how mean it may seem. just get over yourself.

Im sure its just force of habit
