Today, I went to a fastfood restaurant to pick up food for my work party. I ordered 250 chicken fingers, 15 orders of fries, and 2 gallons of tea, and the guy behind the counter asked, "Is this for here or to go?" FML

You do realize they are required to ask that right?

He was doing his job. U can order a dinosuar and he'll say the same thing. If they dont they are in trouble.

He's just doing his job. In this society, you can't assume anything. Believe it or not, some people might order that for here!

They have to say that or they get in trouble. I used to work at a Fast food place and when I first started working there a family came in and it was ovbias they were eating here so I didn't ask them. My manager gave me a warning but I could have gotten fired.

I should start asking that where I work just for the fun of it. I work at a place where there is no dine in, I can imagine the reactions I would get after people ordered their food...

Well it's not an FML whereas most fastfood restaurants must say if the order is for here or to go, I would know, I'm a manager of one.
