Today, I went to a Father's Day lunch with my dad and his fiancée. He suddenly began to describe, in detail, the vasectomy he'd just had, and that I shouldn't be expecting any new siblings any time soon. Thanks for the mental image, Dad. FML

Most people who are old enough to use a computer (and old enough to deal with the issues on FML) should also be old enough not to be expecting any siblings, even if Dad is marrying/married to a much younger woman.

I've had one. They're not fun. But he should realize the junk is still effective for months if not longer so if he thinks he's in the clear and irresponsible you might just end up with another sibling.

My brother told my family about it when he got his done, which didn't bother any of us. The part where they put an elastic around it and then pin the elastic to his shirt was the weirdest and grossest part. The rest he wasn't really aware of because he couldn't see.
