it's your fault for being gassy
Yeah, because you can totally control that!
If you are prone to nervous gas, try taking an OTC gas solution a little bit before an interview.
It is funny. As I was reading this, I figured this has to be a dude. Then I looked and saw that it was a female. Eeeuuuuwww!
Twat.
What's the difference? A fart is a fart, no matter if it comes from a male or a female!
If I could give you a hug OP, I would (unless you're uncomfortable with hugs then comforting words will do just fine). That is awful but it is a natural bodily function that stinks unfortunately.
Ummmm... If the job was that important to you why not just hold it? Or, apologize profusely and excuse yourself. Even a child can hold their gas for a few minutes or excuse themselves to the bathroom.
This is the funniest post I've seen in awhile. I just cried tears of laughter. Sorry op could have been worse.. might have been more than a fart

"Was that a fart?" "No." "I can taste it. On my tongue."
Hopefully the interviewer has a sense of humor and is understanding...!
