Today, I went to buy some makeup. As I was checking out, the cashier said, "You're going to need more than that to cover up that face." FML

Well that was rude. I don't understand why people think it's acceptable to comment on people's appearance in such a derogatory way.

And whatever her excuse will be, it won't be able to cover up her story for saying that. Bring it up to her boss.

Everyone except me seems to have read this as the cashier being a girl. I just assumed it was a guy, but the FML doesn't specify so it's hard to tell.

That's when you go to the manager, and you damn well don't purchase from the store. The "I was going to buy things, but the service made me decide I can go elsewhere" response and the Look a manager will give the responsible employee gives a very satisfying feeling.

Wow how ******* rude, honestly what the ****? You should call corporate and complain because if a cashier said something like that to someone like me, who has extreme anxiety and low self esteem issues that could legitimatly cause someone to break down.

Don't you dare listen to that scumbag ! These are all business market tricks. You are beautiful. Believe it !

You should report that person to their workplace and they could be written up or fired. You should have not given that place your business after that comment.
