Today, I went to have dessert with my boyfriend. We ordered some Jello. I said that I loved Jello because it is so fun and jiggly. My boyfriend said, "Like you. Except the fun part". FML

I'd be pissed. Of course, any guy I'd ever date would know better than to comment on a girl's weight. That's just common sense.

lol its funny but i make jokes like that all the time with my guy friends so i wouldnt take it seriously. i'd say joke around with him.

There's taking a joke, but it wasn't even funny or clever. If you wanna push the envelope and be a bit insulting, then at least be witty about it. But I do think that joking about a woman's weight is usually in bad form.

Maybe you should go to the gym and lose some weight.

It all depends on how long you have been going out and how comfortable you are with each other. If you have been going out for a week or something then dump his ass, but if you have been dating for several months then you should know by now that he would probably say something like this, and if he has never said something like this before then he should get a pass.

That's not funny. At all. I hope he was dumped. Whether or not he meant it as a joke, obviously it bothered her enough to post it here and therefore it doesn't matter if it was a joke- he needs to go if he can't respect her.

you sound like a fat shit, and that comment was well deserved.

lol hopefully this was a joke, cause it sounds like one that i would make. If you hate men because of this, you can always turn into a les like #24

I suppose it depends on how he said it. I'm a bit sensitive about my weight, but whenever my boyfriend jiggles my thighs or makes a comment about me being a little bit chub he usually does it with a smile, so I know he's not being an ass. But I guess he said it in a bit of a malicious way, so I can understand why you'd be upset a bit. Boys are dumb. :)
