Today, I went to my father for advice. I've been seeing a wonderful girl for the past month, and I feel terrible about it, because I already have a girlfriend. He said "Kill yourself" and that if I "can't even do that right" then to get out of his house, because he disowns me. FML

Wow. He did NOT deserve that. Sure he was cheating but it's not like he was planning to try and keep it a secret. For a father to tell their son to kill themselves, is the WORST thing anyone could hear. Not to mention what his father followed up with. I happen to think you did not deserve that and your father is awful.
