It happens. You'll never do it again though right? lol None of my professors take attendance, even in the small classes.
You can't get a PTA number and transfer to the other psyche class?
I went to a top tier school and only had one or two classes ever do roll call, even on the first day. The real big give away is the SYLLABUS..... PSYCH 233 Child Development with Professor Franklin vs. PSYCH 238 Abnormal Psychology with Prof. Chavez........... Poster is a liar or a great candidate for euthanasia
I went to my Bio class on the first day, and we had a differnt teacher than our schedule said, it was some kind of Computing error, but we are all fine That really sucks, good luck!! As for you who think the poster is an idiot, just wait till that happens to you, or worse
Wouldn't you think the prof would've noticed that he was receiving tests and papers that didn't match anyone on the roster? Maybe they thought if you couldn't figure it out, you didn't deserve to be told. Still, I think fake.
Sometimes the first midterms are the first things professors receive from their students. Also, professors are very busy, and most don't care. "Maybe they thought if you couldn't figure it out, you didn't deserve to be told." This is very true.
No one takes attendance in university
Oh ****! I absolutely believe this could have happened. Psych classes tend to be huge, especially in first year, and often have really similar-sounding names. Guys, don't hate. This could honestly happen to anyone at even a mid-sized university.
This is probably not fake at all. 100-level science classes are usually massive, from 100-300 people. The profs will show up, lecture, and sometimes grade exams... the TA's get to figure all the other stuff out. Like why this person who isn't enrolled seems to be handing in homework. A psych course wouldn't even have a weekly lab where attendance would be taken. As far as the syllabus goes, he may have registered 3-4 months in advance and forgot what he was taking. This really does seem plausable to me. EDIT: #20 beat me to it

I don't even know where to begin...
Ummm really? I find this a tiny bit hard to believe... the professor of the class you were going to never once, not even on the first day, took attendance?
