Today, I had to take my little brother to the pool. He acted like a brat the whole time, and when I told him we were leaving, he ran away, slipped, and hit his face on the tile floor. He told my dad and step-mom I punched him. They believed him, and I'm grounded for two months. FML

Today, when I went to pick my kid up from daycare, I found out that he had run away. The rest of my afternoon consisted of me screaming his name, looking for him. I then returned to the daycare center. He thought it would be funny if he hid in the trash. FML

I will say the parents of the friend did the right thing. That said,OP, your little brother is a brat, and I hope you just left him there and let him find his own way home. I also hope you told your parents about the little bratling's stunt so you don't get into too much trouble. Perhaps next time your parents should let the friend's parents know that you're picking him up so they know when the little brat is having a tantrum.
