Today, I went to Target. I was on my way to the bathroom when I find a huge mirror. No one was around so I started to see how my butt looked in my jeans, checked up my nose and fixed my bra. An older woman then walks out of a door next to the mirror and explains that it's a two-way mirror. FML

EVERY target i've ever been to has those two way mirrors. You can even see through them if you look closely enough. plus, you were on your way to the bathroom, couldn't you have done it there? YDI.

Target has two way mirrors as the windows of their offices..they don't even look like regular mirrors, they have a reflective gray film. And there is a sign for the managers office right next to it. And finally those mirrors are right in front of the regiaters so why were you doing all this in plain sight?

I assume that they would have a two-way mirror near the bathroom so that they can see if someone is taking shit in to take of the tags and shoplift But yes, why wouldn't you just wait until you were in the bathroom before doing these things?

#4,#9: On a regular mirror, almost of the thickness of a mirror is clear glass with a reflective film applied to the BACK. The thickness of the glass separates you from the actual reflective surface, so when you press your finger to a mirror the reflection will not be perfect because your finger cannot reach the reflective surface. #1's asserting (I don't actually know) that the reflective surface of a two-way mirror is actually on top of the glass, instead of at the back, so there will be no distortion when you press your finger to the mirror.

YDI for checking yourself out in public. Go into the bathroom first

haha I work there and when I first started I would look at myself and occasionally fix my makeup when I walked by. Then another employee told me that it was an office. But no worries, everyone does it, and a lot of times there isn't someone in there.
