actually #17 it is a generalizzzation. you can't assume that just because there are a lot of court cases in America that every American's first reaction is to "moan and sue." that would be like assuming that an inmate is black because the majority of americans in jail are black (which is a blatant gerneralization). And don't say it was just a joke, because then you wouldn't have tried to back it up.
........wow, is this turning into www (world war web)? just look at the funny fml and stop bickering over differences in such trivial things -_-
about the hot coffee law suit.. that was brought up over another FML once before and from what i read the woman who spilled it on herself had 3rd degree burns and what not. and McDonalds was selling the coffee like 15 degrees hotter then it should have been or something crazy... when you hear the whole thing you end up feeling bad for the burn victim. Because the coffee was way too hot. and she only sued to cover medical bills for skin graphs and such
#31/35 Explain again how having a erection does harm?
looks like the sidetrack started when d101(medical student) attempted to use condescending remarks to augment his argument to ilikerainbows (works under medical litigation firm). i know d101 only wanted to make a strong remark that catched attention, but potentially offending multiple people isn't going to make the point easier to take. I think the remark by d101 could have been executed much better, such as: as a fellow from Britain, I would want to be sure of the doctor's hostile intent before going to the courthouse to enact justice (a tort) between 2 people. We're supposed to have the attitude of "innocent until proven guilty" right??? =] I hope that isn't offensive, as i attempted to portray myself speaking brit when i'm from cali. we should all chilldax man~ XD
Something about a dentist being hard gives me the giggles. ;)
Uh. Dudes get boners. It might've been about you, it might not've been. Who cares? It's not like he made you suck his dick.
