I'm angry at the people that said you deserved it. You couldn't help that and good luck with your recovery op
YDI on this one. You were sick and you waited weeks to see your doctor? No wonder you feel worse now. I hate when people wait forever before getting treated for their illness that's how this shit spreads to other people. Go to the doctors right away next time.
He didn't deserve it sometimes sickness last a few weeks and people don't go to the doctor because it can be treated with medication you can buy at your local pharmacy
And think about it if your car wasn't working right you're not going to a part store pick something off the shelf and hope that fixes it. You're going to want a mechanic to figure out what's wrong and find out the right part that needs replacing. That's my logic because I don't want someone else's illness spreading to me or my family because they were too lazy to go to a doctor.
You're all assuming that OP could get an earlier appointment. Some places have a limited amount of doctors who are often booked out. Especially small towns.
This happened to me & I HAD gone the Dr first thing. It kept progressing. I went back a few times to try different medications. So don't judge everyone the same. And most people don't go running to the doctor at the first sneeze. Especially if you don't have insurance & can't afford an office visit.
#26 ever heard of a walk in clinic? Sorry for not sugar coating this for you guys but you need to understand how this kind of attitude is an issue to public health. And yeah you don't have to go to the doctor for every little thing but if you're sick for days or over a week and aren't getting better or you're getting worse then GO SEE A DOCTOR. If OP did he wouldn't have his bronchitis turn into pneumonia.
never seen so much shit in someones comments before.
This is America, where not everyone has health insurance and healthcare expenses are through the roof. It's not the fault of the people who fail to get treated for a minor cough until it turns major. Not everyone can afford the $1000+ it takes to go to a walk-in clinic, not all areas HAVE walk-in clinics (the nearest one to me is 50 miles away), and hospital ERs are incredibly expensive if you don't have insurance. Yes, they will work with you for a payment plan, but that doesn't make that several thousand dollar debt much easier to bear. That $20 a month could be your gas money to get to work for a week.
You people are so ignorant oh well haters gonna hate just don't go crying because you get sick because some Joe Shmoe at a Walmart coughed on you. And definitely don't start whining that you're feeling worse because it took you 3 weeks to go see a doctor. If you can afford it in the first place then you should have gone in the first place.
This isn't a situation where you can say "you must always do this". With people getting sick, there are to many variables; maybe they thought they were having allergy problems; maybe they thought they were having a bad cold; maybe they couldn't get to a doctor for a number of reasons; car, small town/limited docs, insurance, demanding job, you name it. Frankly, assuming they decided to ignore 'just because' is the least likely reason.
Bronchitis is rarely contagious... just FYI. It can be caused by all kinds of things. A mixture of allergies and asthma causes me to develop bronchitis twice a year. And this year, for the first time, it developed into pneumonia. And guess what? No medicine can help it! GASP. It's a rest, fluid and steroid (to help me breathe) situation. It's been five weeks and I'm just now able to take a breath without chest pain. Doctors don't carry a magical pill for everything. Sometimes you just have to bear through it.
Does she sign?
She might, but he probably doesn't.
If you're deaf, then you can't hear a thing. If you're hearing impaired, then everything's just quieter than they would be for healthy ears.
Clearly you know nothing. I'm deaf and I call myself hearing impaired. And I can't hear a damn thing.
Not always. Some people who are hard of hearing might consider themselves hearing impaired. However, most deaf/hoh people do not like to be called hearing impaired. It implies that they are broken. It is extremely insulting to most deaf people.
Ummmmmm, if your partner is hearing impaired I would think you'd have learned to sign. I know I did when I was involved with my ex-girlfriend. That would solve the problem rather quickly. Oh wait I forgot, it's not my responsibility to go a little above to help a relationship.
Someone else sounds like they don't understand the most basic sarcasm...
Ain't nobody got time for that!
You do realize that God created magical things like texting, email, and pencil/paper where you can write messages down.... right?
Well now, I wouldn't hold God responsible for creating at of those things.
I suggest pen and paper. Or dry erase board and maker for a while.
could always write it down.

Maybe try using a whiteboard until you get your voice back, feel better.
That stinks OP! Hopefully it will get better!
