Eye doctor? Is that something similar to an optician? I have no sympathy for people who talk like a 2 year old.
Eye doctor = optometrist. Optician just makes the lenses. Way to make yourself sound stupid as shit.
hahahaha, you guys are all retarded. eye doctor = ophthalmologist. don't criticize other people if you have no idea what you're talking about.
Opticians - make/fit glasses & contacts Optometrist - Eye Doctor Ophthalmologist - Surgical/Disease Eye Doctor maxiscool123 -you should really know what you are talking about before resorting to name-calling...DUMBASS
That sucks, contacts are expensive. And really, some people on FML have this thing for making a big deal out of something pointless. I call the optometrist an eye doctor sometimes too, it doesnt even matter. calm down.
Usually, before buying new contact lenses, optometrists encourage you to do a trial run with a pair of the contacts to see if you have any reactions. You must have a lame optometrist. :/
Same thing happened to me. I had 3 eye ulcers in the process of finding out which contacts work for me. It's so worth it.
Have you tried returning them? I know if the boxes are unopened all the eye doctors I've gone to have let me return them and get the money back.
either this is fake, or you doctor is really bad. i know that it's true that you can develop an allergy, but when you went to the doctor to order contacts, he SHOULD HAVE examined your eyes. if he examined your eyes, he could have told you about the allergy.
I have to tell you, it's highly unlikely that you're actually allergic to the lenses and much more likely that you're allergic to contact solution. I developed an allergy to it after wearing contacts for about 10 years and have had no further problems since switching to Clear Care, which is a peroxide solution that neutralizes overnight so it's just water in the morning. You might give that a shot before giving up contacts completely. It sounds like your doctor is an idiot for not giving you any suggestions like that.
FYL for having an incompetent eye doctor who jacked ur money. i have an eye doctor like that. she made fun of me cuz i got dizzy with my new stronger prescription glasses. i didn't need a stronger prescription.

I hope you get a refund :)
This just happened to me, too! I'm so sorry! And no, everyone, you can't return them, no matter how unopened/unused the contacts are!
