My allergy doctor did some prick test on my back when I was younger to see what I was allergic to,.hurt like a m f'er. They told me I was allergic to horses and rabbits..well,. I didn't listen and they sure were right! My eyes swelled shut and I was gasping for air after I decided to ride heehee at the fair.. sad day. But doctors told me I was allerigic to eggs too, which I avoided for years.. but when I eventually tried them nothing happened, and i've been eating them since. Weird?

Nope :) Vanilla beans are from flowers - nuts grow on trees with the exception of peanuts which aren't actually nuts, but they grow in the ground. Edit -- this was supposed to be a response to the question about vanilla beans being nuts...whoops. My bad.
