Well, if you have STDs that are curable, it's great that you're both aware of it and can get the right treatment rightaway, before anything happens between the two of you. If one or both of you has a non-curable STD, at least you can use adequate protection, and you don't need to have that awkward informing-your-partner-of-your-STD-moment. I do hope it's one of the less nasty STDs though! Good luck with finding the right treatment for both of you.
