Might be to your advantage. I imagine this'll be a tough topic of conversation for serious future relationships. At least with this guy there's already that hurtle that's been reached. For some, STDs can be a serious deal breaker. I'd go into this optimistically OP. Good luck

Well, if you have STDs that are curable, it's great that you're both aware of it and can get the right treatment rightaway, before anything happens between the two of you. If one or both of you has a non-curable STD, at least you can use adequate protection, and you don't need to have that awkward informing-your-partner-of-your-STD-moment. I do hope it's one of the less nasty STDs though! Good luck with finding the right treatment for both of you.
