Today, I went to the orthodontist's to get my braces tightened, and I chose baby blue bands. Turns out they make my teeth look extremely yellow. Only a month and a half to go. FML

Maybe try getting a whitening toothpaste, and the hue of your teeth will look whiter against the blue

Don't try white. You'll get people staring at your teeth all the time, and even people asking about your brushing habits.

Maybe request speed braces... Those are the ones I had and they are tiny tiny and they don't have colored bands they're just metal brackets. It's easier to deal with and better for cleaning. Keep holding on, you're teeth will be perfect!

oooooh yeah i remember having this problem years ago.... Except i thought i would be smart and got them to alternate red yellow and green.... not such a sexy look! Look on the bright side! u wont choose that colour again.....
