Today, I went to the park and sat down on a bench to enjoy my coffee. I heard a few young girls behind me talking about how their first experience of sex was. I turned around to see how old these girls really were. One of them was my daughter. FML

You're obviously not very observant. What kind of parent sits in front of their child and doesn't notice them, and then doesn't recognize their voice when sitting close enough to hear the entire conversation? If your daughter is young enough for this to be truly a 'life-******* situation' to you, you should be keeping better tabs on what she's doing in the first place.

First: this world is still the same. It didn't change. The only thing that changed are the people and their values. In ancient Rome, girls of 14 where ready for marriage. In ancient Sparta, girls of 16 married men of at least 40 years old. That would be totally unacceptable nowadays - with good reason. So, actually, the world has improved. Yay. Second: for, let's say, 90-95% of all the 13-years olds, sex is NOT something they are ready for - also with good reason. But, because it simply can't be all 100% of them, some are already completely fullgrown and ready for sex, aged 13. Small, small, small minority, but they exist. Third: the average is indeed 15 years old, but having sex at that age doesn't make people ******. Fourth: the world is not ****** up because some, probably, young teenager had sex because she, hopefully, wanted it. Happens all the time. There are children of eight-years old, boys and girls, being prostituted at this very moment. That's bad.

Everyone keeps saying '*****' and '******'. But to be considered that you usually have to have alot more sex than your first time. People use those words too much. If they are ****** for just talking bout that, then any damn person who has ever had sex is a *****. And OP, I am going to guess your daughter is older since you wanted to check on their age. That means they probably did not sound like young teen girls. Around 16 or 17, they get a more womanly voice. But its right in the middle of changing so it is hard to tell. If your daughter is that age, be proud. Too many are not even respecting their bodies enough to wait even that long.

I think it's time to sit her down and talk to her about protection and birth control. Also, you should take her out and buy some condoms and, if she's having sex regularly, get her in to see the doctor and get a prescription for birth control. She should also start having pap tests at her yearly physicals. This isn't an FYL op, people have sex, it's not the end of the world. I hope that my baby girl protects herself when she gets to that stage.

46 that does not make her a hoe. That was completely uncalled for. My friends and I tell each other about some of the people we have sex with, it's just what teenagers do.
