Today, I went to the store to get groceries. After getting all the stuff I need, and was heading towards the checkout point, I heard a baby cry and instantly felt coldness on my shirt. Yes I was lactating, and yes it was noticeable. FML

At least you can cross milk off of your grocery list.

Aw, sorry, op! It's embarrassing but perfectly natural for new moms to lactate during that time period! How old is your baby? :)

That's okay, OP. It could be worse. :D If someone is bothered by it, well, up theirs. Lactating is normal if one is pregnant or breastfeeding. If someone can't handle it, that's their problem.

My mom told me she had the same thing happen to her at the supermarket after she had me. It's not fun, but it means your body's doing what is should and your baby won't go hungry.

Regardless of public feeding issues, this is a literally unavoidable bodily function. It's like accidentally farting in public. If you're human, you're going to do it eventually. Anyone hating is an idiot demanding inorganic robotic behavior.

It's a local store and everyone knows I have a 3 month baby girl. They were just surprised to see it happen so fast just from hearing another baby cry. Well that's what I get when I leave the house not wearing a bra. Well I managed to get a few laughs from people. But the boyfriends reaction ofc he found hysterically funny. Lol

YOU CANNOT DEFY THE POWER OF NATURE!!
