Today, I went to work with a splitting headache, after being ridiculed for calling out with a migraine previously. It was only after I started vomiting blood at my work station that management decided I could go home. FML

OP here - I've tried to leave an update a few times but it never sends -_-' I did go to the hospital that day and the over all verdict was in fact an ulcer. I'm on really strong antacids now. I also quit that job 2 weeks after this post, but only after securing another one. I'm much happier now, thank you everyone!

You could have meningitis or an ulcer it's not a normal thing for a migraine to cause gastrointestinal bleeding.

Go see a doctor then update your resume and find a new job. I work through migraines myself but any company that bullies you for getting them (or going home) isn't good enough for you. Work somewhere where they have basic respect for others.

It really sucks that so many employers don't believe when someone is sick or in pain, the lazy fakers ruin it for everyone. I once had to go to work within an hour of having a 6 inch needle probed around my shoulder and ink injected into it. I couldn't move my right arm, but that wasn't a good enough excuse not to be a cashier that night apparently

My wife has called out twice in four months gets written up! One gal didn't show or call for 3 days. Nothing done. The managers excuse? My step dad and mom died four months apart and if I couldn't do the services on a Monday or Sunday rather than Saturday there was no reason for her to go no blood relationship! what?

Welp, I say ur work is duchy (not to b mean) but that'd bull, if u couldn't bare work they should have let u go. If I where u next time just go to the doctor (idk if they accept doctors notes but get one) idk how that works I'm still in high school lol...I hope u feel better tho♡
