Today, I witnessed a horrible car accident and was interviewed by the local news. During the interview I said, "It was terrible. It was like watching a silent movie... but there was sound!" The interview has been aired 6 times. FML

Leave her alone, jeez. She had just witnessed a terrible accident. @ OP-Sorry about that, I hope you feel better

There is nothing wrong with your comment. Silent movies are different in structure and perception than regular movies with sound. So I can see how your brain reacted to watching that accident as watching a silent movie... with sound. It's unfortunate you had to witness it. Smile for you :-D

Lol xD Once I got lost at a carnival and walked right through a spelling bee screaming "BamBam?! Where are you?!" I was 6 btw....

Its ok. you just watched a car accident, you were scared FYL

That silent movie with sound genre is a lost art form.

Maybe you should have said, "It was just like Grand Theft Auto 4.... except the graphics were much better!"

WTF is with everyone saying "fail" all the time? Ur all so annoying.

Don't worry OP, It happens often. I was watching the news one day and a woman was somehow "injected" from her seat. Most likely the nerves.

Lmao! I totally understand your analogy, but it is indeed a dumb thing to have said :P
