You were gonna take a shower just an hour before the flight? Uhh.. not a good idea. The last time I flew, I arrived at the check-in around 45 minutes before the flight (my e-ticket had the wrong time on it, it's a long story) and at first they told me that I was simply too late and couldn't make it on the plane anymore. But fortunately, after a few minutes of talking, they agreed to let me in. Thank god.
total burn...
lolololololololol
I don't know why no one else mentioned this, but I call hella shenanigans on this FML. As a VERY frequent traveller (I have filled up my passport in a year and a half) I know for a fact that no airport has flights that leave at THREE THIRTY IN THE DAMNED MORNING! The earliest flights you might have are 6:15 or so, as it takes time to fuel and stock the planes, as well as have the staff there to check passengers in. I have slept in a number of airports (KL, SYD, NAD, LAX, etc. etc.) and none of them have had a flight that was in the middle of the night like that. For this, I call shenanigans. Take your pretend broken arm and get on your pretend flight and don't waste our time.
if they were going to lie, why wouldn't they just lie and say a normal time, then, instead of in the middle of the night? (though I agree with you I have never been on or seen flights that late and I too have spent a night in an airport)
Um, no. I don't care if you're a "frequent flier" I have flown enough times to know that airplanes can will and HAVE run at an ungodly hour like 3:30 in the morning. The earliest I have flown was around 5 in the morning, but I have arived places at times like 2 in the morning. And, btdubs, that means airports run at all hours. Nobody gives a shit if you fly a lot. Seriously, get over yourself. And alexFYL, thats not really an un-normal time. From all the times I have flown, I've never gone in the middle of the day. I always fly at ungodly hours like 5 or 7 AM (which meansyou gotta get up at 3 to be at the airport by 5, or get up at...ugh, one, to be at the airport by 3). I agree that this is prob a fake because wtf kind of moron would get in the shower with only an hour before the flight takes off, but the time of said flight is really insigificant. And P.S. I just looked for an airplane ticket to prove you wrong, and found quite a few at 3, and 4 AM. So there.
at least you had a day left to get a cast put on your arm.
Alright, I can almost understand forgetting what day your flight leaves. But I can't stand how people make up stories like this. You say you broke your arm, but that didn't hinder your typing abilities at all. Sure, you can type with one hand, but the bottom line is, you're a clumsy fool who was probably too hungover to know when your flight was supposed to leave!
he didn't forget, he woke up disoriented because it was 2:30 in the friggen morning and maybe he's posting this from a phone app on which he can easily type with one hand. aside from the fact that yes, it is indeed possible to type with one hand, I do it often when my second hand is busy with something else. and last but not least… where the hell did you get the idea he was hungover??? nowhere do I see anything about drinking at all. *calmly steps off soapbox*
could be worse! if you did the same thing on the day of your flight you would've missed it

Um, unless you live IN THE AIRPORT...if you woke up 1 hour prior to the flights departure you were screwed from the get go. They begin boarding the flight 20min to departure not including gettin through security and checking bags which BTW the cutoff time for THAT is 1 hour to departure...just saying
well at least you didn't fall on a metal pole impaling you to the ground untill you were rescued 4 days later only to die of thirst before you reached the hospital...
