There's a difference between not drinking and not getting drunk. There's nothing wrong with having a few beers on a weekday, but if you wake up with your pants soaked with urine right before you're off to work, that's a pretty good sign of alcoholism.

Well you know some of us would rather go through a workday without a hangover and smelling like booze instead of getting shitfaced the night before.

1. People aren't saying not to drink, just don't piss drunk the night before work. 2. If someone doesn't drink on weekdays or whenever doesn't mean they have a sad life. It's sad that you think you need to drink to enjoy life. Anyway for the OP, just last night I went out, and had drinks, stopped at 11:30pm because I had work at 6am the next morning. I got tipsy and had fun, but didn't over do it because I knew I had to work the next morning (and typically don't over do it anyway because I'm not that kind of party-er). And it's always a good thing to remember what you did the night before. Also, next time buy some clothes at a store or go home and bathe/change. Even if it makes you more late for work, at least you don't smell of piss.
