Getting stupid drunk when you have work the next day is a bad move. But if you are going to do it at least be prepared. Have spare clothes in your car. I always have spare clothes in my car. Always. As I have a tendency to trip and fall in mud/water/gum that wasn't properly disposed of/other gross things. But especially if you go out drinking. Other things to consider keeping in your car: toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body soap,(I have a bath junkie product that combines all of these into one, which is good for an emergency) towel (Always know where your towel is! :D), spare shoes (comfortable shoes, flips flops are excellent, but something for if you step in poop, or a puddle, and you need to let your shoes dry...) a fully stocked first aid kit (very useful. I'm accident prone, and there aren't always friendly cops around with band-aids and hand sanitizer.) Deodorant of somekind, (Something that won't melt), Wet-ones or some other form of cleaning wipes, tissues, and something that you can use to make your hair look decent in a short amount of time, with no electricity. I like to be prepared. And sometimes my random adventures result in strange situations. Cheer wipes might have been useful in your situation. Wipe your pants, dry them, shower while they dry. Go to work late, but clean. And bring breakfast. No one can be mad for long when you're handing them food.

Maybe you could have rinsed them out before throwing them in the dryer? I mean, honestly...
