everytime you eat something sweet, offer her some and then say no.
I would take her credit card and buy a cake with it (if possible). If not, I'd be every upset. There is no real reason to do that, if she was tempted then it was her own problem and OP shouldn't have had to be affected by that. Being tempted is no justification for throwing out a few hours worth of someone else's baking.
Hahah lol all tht hard work!
Yes... Hence the FML. *facepalms*
Id smack her.
That sounds so bad, I hope the evening still goes well.
Hmm, I wonder which would be worse: her mom tossing the cake or her mom taking a big chunk out of the cake because she couldn't resist the temptation? I guess the former since at least with the latter OP would still have part of the cake (then she could take a slice just for her friend). Either way, bad mom. Bad mom.
I've seen a cake served with a piece missing, we don't take ourselves very seriously so it was funny as hell. OP's mom is just a horribly inconsiderate fatass.
Throw out all her alcohol, and any prescription or illegal drugs and say they tempted you. Make we pay for her blunder

Wow, that's hella selfish, I would make her buy one to make up for it.
The amount of rage that would well up within me could never be measured by any means of the measurement system, should I have been in that situation... Your mother had a lousy excuse and I really hope she does something to make up for her selfish behavior.
