Today, I woke up from a nightmare that I've been having for a couple of weeks. In the nightmare I'm shot four times in the back by none other than my mother. I'm getting worried. FML

i once dreamt that i was in france, eating baguette and cheese with hilary clinton, when suddenly christopher walken came and told me to jump in his car so we could save the world. all i had to say was: 'i sometimes pretend to be a dog and shit in my neighbors lawn.' he called me a ****** ****** and drove off. should i be worried?

#13, yes, you should be worried. For Christopher Walken, that is. Hilary Clinton could save the world (she may have already when she was Secretary of State), so for Walken to pick you over her would indicate that he has serious problems.

Being shot in general in your dreams usually indicates vulnerability, or a sense of "lack of security". This can be on a personal level, educational, or even professional. How to tell is usually defined based on who is doing the shooting, and who is being shot. Being shot in the back specifically can also indicate an issue with trust with that person or institution. I know personally I have a lot of trust issues and this is actually a common dream for me. Maye you just need to talk to her, open up your relationship with her, and that could fix it. If not then there is a serious problem on your subconscious, and you may want to get to the bottom of it, before it affect your dreams with everyone. Hope this helps a little bit. When I was a kid, my mom often became a monster in my nightmares. Now that I'm older I know it's because she couldn't handle kids, treated us badly and often screamed because she was exasperated. Meaning I was actually scared of my mother. Now I just don't have respect for her anymore.
