One of the few times I would actually suggest suing. I have heard stories of people drawing arrows and notes on themselves to ensure the surgeons work on the correct limb.

My God this made me cringe. I feel really bad for you. Almost a year ago I had knee surgery for a fracture in my tibea plateau and torn LCL in my left knee. Just thinking that you probably now have to have to get another surgery, I feel pretty sorry.

So when they marked your knee before surgery, as per any sane hospital's policy, you didn't say anything? If they didn't mark it, sue them for everything, if they did mark and you didn't speak up, then tough luck
