Ugh. I have this exact same problem with my boyfriend. I HATE it when I'm hanging out with him, or anyone else, and their face is buried in their phone. It's ******* rude. He checks his Facebook evey 20 mins. I check mine once or twice a day. And he's always texting. It really bothers me. And makes me upset that he isn't interested in me. So I totally understand where OP's wife is coming from. I usually end up taking his phone away when we're together.

I really can't believe what I'm hearing here. Even if OP did ignore his wife, she has no right to mess with his property. Instead she should try to be mature and talk to him about it. Acting as childlike as she is will not stop her husband from being antisocial (by the way that's the word you are all looking for, not talking to others is antisocial, so stop calling OP childish), it will just drive him to FML to talk about her here. Moreover, everyone here just assumes that OP is actually ignoring her. Even if that's true, then yes, he needs to talk her more because that is his wife, but she still had no right to ground him. A husband and wife should be equals, she is not his mother. OP, your life sucks because your wife is being juvenile
