Today, I wrote the most beautiful college application essay ever, ten minutes before the online deadline. Instead of clicking "submit", I clicked the button next to it that said "return". The entire essay vanished into internet wasteland. FML

ydi for not taking the proper time to write the application. And for writing it in the browser. and for not turning it in earlier.

Learn a lesson, maybe? COPY AND PASTE FROM A DOCUMENT!

what the **** are you talking about? what rules? and the #1 guy was right, why the **** are you replying to his comment if it has ******* nothing to do with his ******* coment?

YDI. Waiting until 10 minutes before the deadline is a terrible idea, and every college application recommends you type it in a separate word processor so you can save it, then copy and paste it into your application. Better luck next year.

Hey, cut this person some slack! College apps are hard and stressful! That really sucks for you. :(

that's exactly the point! there are other people who labor on the essay for months and turn it in before the deadline and don't get in as opposed to the OP who is writing this supposedly fantastic essay...sorry, composing the essay ten minutes before the deadline! so yeah...i don't really have any sympathy for the OP

You are so right. It is very hard and stressful to do college applications. Thats why smart people spread the stress out over a period of time longer than 10 minutes and take the care to do everything right. To be honest I had my essay written a couple months before and worked on it for a long time and then, the darndest thing happened, I went to fill out my application and everything went very smoothly. Then my application was also turned in well before the dead line. Actually I take back my first two comments, college applications aren't the hard part, the hard part is coming to the conclusion that if you find an application difficult then you should probably realize that a life of manual labor is in store for you. When you get a job at an automechanic shop, you'll probably be the guy whose sole job is to change oil and tires because you didn't get enough education to learn how to weld and aren't a good enough worker to get a promotion.

Wait...but you didn't write the essay in the submission form right? You wrote it in a word processor first..?

I only said YDI because you self-proclaimed your work "the most beautiful college application essay ever." Also apparently you don't know what return means. (douche)

It's called a word processor, you stupid twat. YDI.

I doubt it was "the most beautiful college application essay ever" if it was written by a moron like OP.

everyone always thinks something is awesome or great when they lose it, it probably wasnt actually that good
