Today, I wrote the most beautiful college application essay ever, ten minutes before the online deadline. Instead of clicking "submit", I clicked the button next to it that said "return". The entire essay vanished into internet wasteland. FML

or "Ctrl-Z" its the universal "undo" button

Today, I read the dumbest FML ever, ten minutes before I would be too drunk to reply. Instead of clicking "I agree your life sucks", I clicked the button next to it that said "You totally deserved it". The author vanished into beauty college, FML.

Actually, it depends on the site. Several times I've lost post content with some sites due to accidently hitting the Back button (or hitting they key shortcut). Meanwhile, on other sites I do that, temporarily freak out, but then find it's still then when I go forward again. But it's those little chances of it not being there that makes me always copy just about anything I post. OP, you're a fool.

that really sucks. consider saving ur work as u write next time- helps big time.

What happened to my comment? All I said was that all the OP has to do is hit the "back" button.

most significant apps (common app included) would have you upload a document, so it probably doesn't matter whether you got into that school or not

Why would you wait 10 minutes before the deadline before submitting something? And why didn't you write it on a Word document?

******* idiot. Its called saving it? dumb shit

YDI for not writing it in a word processor, clicking the wrong button, and for doing it 10 minutes before it was due. Also, most textboxes online do not have a spell check, so YPDI (you probably deserve it) for not spell checking!
