I've gotten into a good habit of hitting "copy" for everything I do, just in case I hit Save and it doesn't. I even "select all", then "copy" my comments on here before I submit them cuz I tend to write paragraphs and sometimes my iPhone won't enter the comment and I don't have to retype it that way. Just a good habit to be in with everything technological..highlight and COPY before you save, it only takes a second more.

That does suck, and I hate to say it, but you really deserve it for waiting until the last minute to write an application essay - especially if it was a college that you really wanted to get into. Not many good things can come out of doing something right before the deadline, so let's hope you learn from your mistakes.

If i had to judge the applications i would turn down any that came in on the last minute by default because it shows their lack of commitment and time management skills and save the college and you a lot of time which can be used to someone who does make the effort to succeed in life. anyway YDI, you have proven that you are not smart enough to go to college.

YDI for not typing ctrl+A (mark everything) and then ctrl+C (copy) in regular intervals or writing it in word an hitting ctrl+S (save) in intervals. It would have been no problem.

i created an account with FML just so i could make fun of you for being so pathetic for the soul fact that there is NO "return" button when filling out a college essay application...ive filled out many college essay applications online and never once has there been a "return" button...you wrote this because your so self centered that you needed extra attention...booooooooooooo wipe that face off your face...go sit in a corner and haze yourself...graduate from high school...find jesus...do something other than being dumb!

You really didn't think to write it in Word and copy-paste it into the text box? Are people really that dumb?

That's why you always save stuff like that. And write it in Word or some other programme. And not write it ten minutes before deadline. YDI.

Why wouldn't you type it on something else, save it, then copy paste it onto your own thing?!
