Looks like you have some work to do :)
It sucks but it just takes time.... we tried at age 2 with my LO and finally gave up until age 3. He's fully trained in a week. Try again at 3 :)
Aww dude hope it wasn't some fresh j's
Welcome to the world of potty training.
YDI for trying to train a two-year-old to use the loo. They learn when they're ready, and two years old seems far too young for potty training.
Mine didn't 'get it' until around 3. But my friend's son potty trained at 9 months. Each kid's different :)
It's weird how animals(human included) will do the opposite of what's expected in odd ways. I have a friend who owns a dog with a fenced in yard. The dog will not pee unless she's on a leash... inside the fence.
All my kids were out of diapers around the age of 2. When they were 18 months, I started putting them in cloth diapers and whenever I went to the bathroom I would bring them with to watch and learn. This worked for me, but it didn't work on my sisters kids(and her youngest is still in diapers at nearly 4 yrs old while my youngest just turned 2 and is in underwear now), but her youngest is getting better though Some of the potty training horror stories I went through though, this one is tame, but I never got mad at the kids, and today when some of them start to make fun of any of the younger kids over accidents, I just mention some of their accidents to get them to stop
You're spot on- the #1 most important thing is not to get mad at the kids, and not to shame them. They eventually get to the point where they feel bad and embarassed about it on their own accord.
this will pass, I am currently potty training my 2 year old,and it can be a headache, but just keep at it and it will improve just keep trying that's what my husband and in are doing and patience is key,and believe me it can be challenging my daughter has peed on the floor and everything so don't lose hope and keep trying
Hang in there :) In the meantime, they're arming you with stories to 'accidentally' spill to their friends when they're older ;)
