.... somebody needs to go to the eye doctor!
What is a ceiling sprinkler?!?
um, it's a sprinkler in the ceiling?
if theres a fire, there are sprinklers on ceilings of some buildings that help to put out fires. google it you'll know what i mean.
never done that before but I have horrible depth perception too :) FYL
I was like "WTF???" during this whole FML
I know how you feel. It can get quite embarrassing. I used to duck away from open cupboards and windows only to notice later that they are several meters away and I was in no danger of running into them. I also raised my hands to protect my head so it was a rather visible reaction to something that didn't pose any threat. It took my quite some time to not react like that anymore. At the same time my legs and arms were usually covered with bruises from running into tables, shelves, corners, chairs, ... that I thought were far away. Like walking along a corridor and turning a few centimetres too early, just enough to bump my shoulder at the door frame. I didn't manage to get rid of that part of the behaviour. I just don't notice it anymore. So I'm still covered in bruises, but I somehow seem to immediately forget when I run into something. If people later ask me where I got a certain huge bruise or scratch from I can't tell them because I can't remember anything happening that would have caused them. Probably better that way because some of them look like they were painful.
The times that situation happened to me....

Lack of depth perception blows, I feel your pain.
The problem here is that the sprinkler kept buzzing past your face, more than your depth perception. When something like that happens, you should tell someone or ignore it well.
