Today, in geometry class, we were working in dead silence. Apparently my phone wasn't on vibrate, and I received 25 texts all at once, while it blasted "Hakuna Matataaaa" out of my back pocket. They weren't even texts from friends, just Facebook notifications. FML

OP, don't be ashamed. Lion King's the best!

I'm expecting to get thumbed down into the bowels of Hades for this, but **** it. Maybe you shouldn't bring have your phone on during school hours. It's clearly a distraction to you and everyone around you. School is for learning, not checking your latest goddamned Facebook bullshit. There...bring on the thumbs. Damned kids. *grumble grumble*

Doc, you appear to have become lax in proof-reading your posts. I can only assume there is a blue moon, and that you were interrupted by some sort of emergency that prevented you from your usual perfection. That being said, the odds of *you* making a mistake are so slim, I'm thinking today would be a good day to buy a lottery ticket.

*grumble grumble* I tried to edit it, but time ran out. *grumble grumble* If it makes you feel any better, Mrs. Bastard finds fault with me constantly. :)

I may be a phone addicted teenager, but I completely agree.

46, you're probably a horny teenager here so that FML can find you a hot date, aren't you?

rexgar2000 10

nope no teenager here 46, but seeing a picture with a lot of cleavage distracts me. I know I should control myself :/

*sigh* Fine, you're a horny geezer who's turned on by boobs. ;) My bad, didn't check out your profile first.

excuse me for having my phone on during school. but did you ever think for one second I had a ligit reason? yeah, didn't think so. yes, I am 15, and yes I do text. but I have enough sense to keep it in my pocket and actually focus on learning. why would I even text in school? everyone I talk to is right there. I keep it on for emergencys, considering last year I kept it off and my mom was in the hospital with me completly unaware. so I believe you need to get your facts straight before critizing someone.

I agree that if you use your phone I. school or it is a distraction you shouldn't take it. I do take mine everyday but that's only to listen to music on my way and it rarely leaves my pocket once I enter the building and its always on silent as I double check

I agree with you to a point. Back at school I would take my phone but leave it off in my locker as a safety precaution as I was quite a distance from home and had to walk through one of the seedy areas of town.

You realize schools have phones too, right? If there is enough of an emergency, your school should be called. Or at least normally. Now I do think it's fine to have a phone for other parts of the day, I don't agree with during school. Maybe during lunch, or on your way, or leaving from, but never during. Otherwise you end up with a bad school. My school is a bad school, at least now. They've gotten so bad, that teachers "can't" control kids with cell phones, they have made it okay, or not against the rules to have one or play with it during the day. Except during teaching. In school, there really is no reason to use a phone, ever. Unless the phone holder has an emergency, not their family. If you get a call in the middle of class, how can you answer it? How can you leave if you have too? You can't. Because the school has no idea, but if someone were to call the school and deliver the message, then you can leave, then the school knows and understands.

What the **** is ur prob asshole????!!!!!!??????!!!!!!!!!!!! **** u!!! Trying to' be' all Smart and shit !!! And why the freakin **** did usay GOD da*********???!!!!????? IDIOT!!!

1. my parents or other family members dosent have the schools number memorized. 2. my school allows us to have our phones out at times, but I still rarely use it. 3. sometimes we have personal emergencies that we would rather not share with the world, and to use the schools phone, you have to give them a reason.

Furthermore, I agree with peachesSOS101. There is absolutely no reason to be using that type of language.

Makalaaa - Somehow the world was able to survive for thousands of years before everyone had a cell phone. Even schoolchildren such as yourself were able to get through an entire day with an electronic distraction gizmo. The fact that your family doesn't have your school's number memorized is irrelevant. If you truly had a "personal emergency", you wouldn't give a **** what phone you were using. That's what "emergency" means. And if your family had an emergency, I guarantee someone would find their way to a phone book or Google to find your school's number. Don't try to bullshit me.

Again with the language... What on Earth is the big deal here? We obviously all have different opinions here, and i'm tired of justifying myself. This was posted for entertainment for others, not to start a big contraversy.

Constant Facebook updates are just so pathetic. How in the hell will you youngster grab the girl and kiss her at the perfect moment if all you do is post and type each other?

Before criticizing people, please at least have a picture of anything but your cleavage. It is very hard to take people seriously when all you see are half of their breasts.

What's with the *grumble grumble? Why should you care if a kid brings their phone to school? It's not going to hurt their education most of the time and if it does it's not your business.

My phone doesn't even allow custom ringtones, **** the third world. Written on my iPod Touch

At least OP's phone didn't play Justin Bieber or "Friday".

Better than "Yo Bitch, I'm Gonna Slap You Up". *Gotta love Two and a Half Men reruns.(:
