Today, was my birthday. I asked for a camera - nothing fancy, just a basic digital camera. My mother bought my brother a fancy digital camera, with all the accessories, for over £200. She then gave me his old, analogue camera, that I can't get film for anymore. He hates taking photos. FML

Today, was my 16th birthday and I was supposed to be surprised with a new car. I have overheard my parents talking about bringing it home tonight while I was at a friend's house. We snuck back to my house to see them bring my car home. All I saw was my Dad crash my new car into a street lamp. FML

Today, my parents said that they bought me a car. I had been begging for one for a year and they always said that I would have to pay for it myself. I got really excited and went to the garage to see my new ride. It was a Hot Wheels car with a note saying, "Save your money". FML

You know i was more than happy to drive around my broken down civic for months after we bought it for 400$. Pulling over every 25 miles to refill the leaking transmission, having to pull over ever 15 minutes to let the car cool down. Yeahh, i was a straight baller :)

Tbh, I'd be happy to have a car at all, if I had one I'd drive around in it whether it sucked or not :] if it's driveable, who cares? Besides you can't really expect your parents to just buy you a new car...though it was a little stupid to buy you a book on photography if you didn't have a camera... still, I'm going to be saving up for my car :)

You're SEVENTEEN and you want a SECOND car ? I'm a spoiled brat and have always gotten everything I wanted, but I'm still not getting a car for my EIGHTEENTH birthday. What the **** is the matter with you ?! Be ******* grateful. When your career in photography pays for your penthouse apartment you'll be ******* thankful.
