hahahahaha. that sucks buy your sister some SICK music with those 5 bucks! i think that's what your parents are expecting.
My wife and I both have cell phones that we are required to carry for work (though they only pay for a small part of the cost). A basic land line in our area costs over $50 per month, so we do not have one in our home. My very mature 11-year-old is often home for 45-90 minutes before I get home from work. I got him his own cell (admittedly a bare bones model) so that he has a way to contact me or the authorities if there is an emergency when he's home alone. It costs me $9.99 per month. He uses it maybe three or four times per month at most. Thus, like #59, I say "welcome to the wireless generation". Preteens with cell phones aren't necessarily spoiled brats with overprotective parents. Oh, and if the OP's folks AREN'T just messing with him, his life is definitely effed.
I totally feel you man and I;ve known my sis was the fave child in my household for a long time. She got Equus broadway tickets for her and a friend for Chanukah, while I got the winter jacket I despertely needed cuz mine was too small-and ended up having to return with no compensation......It was replaced with my "birthday gift" of a jacket that fit right...............All those ppl here who commented "welcome to adulthood" or "do something nice for your sister and buy her some songs" or "You should be grateful and you should feel bad for your sister" are just JERKS. Don't listen to them. (No offense guys) You were ligit jipped and pulled the short straw. your parents are cheap lame-Os. Now your privilage is to ditch 'em. go get 'em tiger! rawr!
I read this exact same thing like a month ago on here i doubt the same thing happened again to someone else. and #45 really your not gonna give your kids any presents on their birthdays or christmas or anything like that there just gonna get gifts from everyone else and look at you like wheres your gift for me and feel like crap.
Just read #45's comment and yeah... seriously?? If you're considering your own child's birthday to be arbitrary... then I feel sorry for your kids. Yeah I can understand not getting gifts for other holidays/celebrations, but for their own birthday... the day they were born... That's just wrong dude.
That is horrid, first thought, just plain horrid. When your sister gets a big gift for something that is just a small thign, and you get basically nothing on the birthday which counts, unfair! - It sucks..., horrid!
wow at all you shitheads talking about the 'spoilt' generation. is it their fault? no. its the parents. and wtf do you guys not know not EVERYONE lives in the ******* united states??
u definitely don't deserve that one (at least from what u put up on FLM ;) those 2021 people are pretty messed up
that means they obviously like your sister more for some reason.
