Today, it's my 18th birthday. My parents got me a $5 gift certificate to iTunes. It came for free with the iPhone they just bought my sister for her middle school graduation. FML

I didn't get anything for my 18th, so you're not alone. But I didn't get anything for my 8th grade graduation, either. I didn't even go to the dance because my Mom wouldn't buy a dress for me to wear. Aren't parents awesome?

To all the comments with people flipping out and saying graduation in march isn't possible, you do realize that in some areas of the world they run on a different school schedule and instead of starting school in september, they start in april while the graduation ceremonies are held near the end of march. and to the OP, that sucks! you were better off getting nothing for your birthday than getting a promotional gift that came free with the bought gift your little sister got. Maybe you gotta tell your parents to stop spoiling her. Hell I didn't even get my 1st cellphone 'til I was in 9th grade after the 9/11 incident when I was freaking out 'cause I couldn't reach my parents since they worked near the area. seriously spoiled kids these days...

@ 53 & @ 131 my friend graduated from highschool in March this month when he's suppose to be a junior but he graduated and caught up a head of grade and credits.
