Hi op here, for all of you guys telling me to use flea medicines and all that, I have tried everything and they don't seem to come off and it really "bugs" me. It all happened after I got a dog so yea I'll keep on trying. On the bright side they are happy dreams.

If chemicals don't appeal to you, or aren't effective, liquid dish soap will work. That's what I used on my kitten when he was very little and you just rub it in, leave it on for several minutes, and wash it out.

you do realise not all treatments work on every animal. Flea collars don't work on my dog but the tablets do. It's usually trial and error to find the right treatment

Maybe you should consider getting rid of the cat or at least getting some very strong flea protection. It's not healthy for your cat and it's worse for you too

The fleas will never go away until you rid not only your pets of them, but also your environment. You can pick them off all you like, but if they are in the carpet or the yard then they will keep up with your attempts. I feel for you, OP. Fleas really suck and they put up a very good fight.
