Unless your brother bought his PS3 himself I have to wonder why your parents didn't just by one for both of you? Like a family one. You'd have to take it in turns sure, but that's just part of being a family...I don't get why each member of a household has to have their own tv and games console..
I don't know about other people but my comment said IF the brother didn't buy his own. Also, I share a PS3 with my brother (and mum and dad but they don't use it much). It's fine. Can be annoying sometimes but sharing is a part of life, particularly in a family - it helps build patience and understanding and can help you play in moderation. If I didn't kick my brother off occasionally he'd never get off...
You had to open the box to realize it? Your mom's clothes must be really heavy to have made that mistake. Yea it was the PS3 box but the difference in weight should have been obvious.
I imagine she put clothes in TO make it heavy. Clothes are surprisingly heavy you know. Plus OP wouldn't have been thinking about the weight, they had no reason to be suspicious.
Well I can understand if maybe she put in pants or something that would actually be heavy. I was thinking of it from my point of view. My mom used to do this shit all the time. One year she bought me a cell phone, took everything out of the box and filled it with batteries and packed clothes around it so if shaken it wouldn't be noticeable. And another year she gave me an enormous box and when I opened it, it was a crock pot box, so me an 8 year old is sitting there like huh??? A crockpot? And then when I opened it, it was filled with newspaper and three powerpuff girls dolls with two guitars and a drum. Pretty awesome.
Sounds like first world problems to me =|
completley off topic, but i feel like DocBastard is like the king of FML..
My sister and brother-in-law did that to my nephew for Christmas when he was six years old. But it was with a Wii box filled with clothes. I don't care how old you are, it's still just cruel. Sorry, OP, that just sucks!
lmao...always expect the the worse when you get a gift so you won't be so disappointed. too funny!
