A free CD is not an FML, no matter how crappy the music is. Your girlfriend doesn't owe you anything, be happy that you have a girlfriend. One that remembers you birthday. One that goes out of her way to buy you a gift.

I admire this guy's audacity. This is nowhere near as big an FML as most of the other stuff on this site (if it could be considered that at all), but he's got a really nice flame war going on. What you people need to understand is that music taste is subjective. I personally have no problem with Nickelback (they're reasonably entertaining live, actually), but half of you guys are acting like children. "NICKELBACK SUCKS! I HATE YOU, AND I HATE THE BANDS YOU LIKE!" Grow up.
