Today, it was my dad's birthday. As a joke, I got him one of those big erasers that say, "FOR BIG MISTAKES." He opened it, tried to erase me with it, then said, "It doesn't work." and left. FML

it doesn't sound like his dad was joking. that sucks, but you kind of deserve it for getting such a crap gift. unless you got him a decent gift to go along with it of course, and the eraser was just something small to add to it. in that case he was just being a jerk.
