So the issue with your comment is that OP never said they can't speak English, or that they expected everyone else to know French. They only said they were excited to find someone from Montreal that they assumed would know French.

There is actually a difference between Canadian French and France French
I'm in 10th grade and I am taking a French class I missed one day and now I'm so far behind before that day I had a 94 in the class after that day till now I have a 87 it's a difficult language compared to English (also I never learned when to use commas in English but in French I can do that shit easy)
