I speak a little French but I was one of two to take French as a high school corse.... Heheheh I'm just glad I can understand it and semi speak it... I'm not a fluent as I am but I can make complete sentences if I think about it.
I think it's because in Montreal they speak a different French as oppose to Parisian French. in French immersion we lean parisian though :) donc je peu parler avec toi! aha not so pod with grammar though! :$
Come to Australia instead : ) We're nice, friendly and people think we have funny accents to :D G'day mate!
Yeah French is an optional language in Canada.
