Today, it was my next-door neighbor's birthday. Over the past year, his pitbull has attacked my stepdad several times and put some stiches on me. Lucky for us, the dog was finally put down. For his birthday my neighbor got a new, bigger, pitbull. FML

Not all pitbulls are mean, maybe you'll get lucky and this one won't be.

this is bullshit. pits are amazing dogs, maybe its the owner whos the dumbass and raising them to be aggressive. its basically like raising a kid, teach them to rape and murder and 9 times out of 10 they'll grow up with the mindset that its ok. its people who dont understand this that give pits a bad rep, and another reason that theyre nearly outlawed.

Assuming a dog is going to attack you because it's the same type is like assuming all black people are gangster rappers, just because you saw one on tv.

You are a fool. I would poison your pit bull.

I agree. Just because he had one pit bull with a poor temperament doesn't mean this one will, unless he is actually training his dogs to be aggressive and not controlling them (in which case, he's the asshole). My pit bull is very sweet and loving, and has always been so.

Hmm, If it attacks you warn the neighbor you will kill it in self-defense, than when it attacks kill it, problem solved

JUST BEAUSE ITS A PITBULL DOESNT MEAN ITS BAD OR MEAN ITS JUST HOW THEY R BROUGHT UP TO BE MAKES THE DIFFERENCE SO SHUT UP ABOUT THEM BEING MEAN AND SHIT THERE NICE AND CUTE! AND ANY DOG CAN BE MEAN AND AGGRESSIVE LIKE THAT

to #5 either 1) you have no life 2) you yourself are gay or 3) all of the above and I am going with 3.

its the owners fault for raising it that way NOT the dogs. the owner should get put down. all dogs are sweet if raised that way

that sucks. maybe the bigger, the better

* Any individual dog may be a good, loving pet, even though its breed is considered to be potentially dangerous. A responsible owner can win the love and respect of a dog, no matter its breed. One cannot look at an individual dog, recognize its breed, and then state whether or not it is going to attack.

you're a moron...if the dog has attacked you call the police and press charges. if it happened on their property than you're a bigger moron for going on their property when you know they have an aggressive dog.

the first time a dog ever lays his teeth on a person, even if no skin is broken or harm done. legally hes sopoused to be put down.. i hate that law but in this case it is most deffinately a must that the dog be put down (as in the first pitt) but give the second one a chance then call animal control if it also attacks. i mean i have met many very sweet pitts but its all in how they were raised and in what environment.
