michelleccali tells us more.
Ok, yes I am a teenager. The reason I was so upset over him not doing anything for our 6 months together was because he made sure I got him a present, and told me a bunch of times that he was planning something fun. So he got my hopes up for nothing. Then when I got sad about it, he got mad at me and pretty much ignored me.

I think you should break up with him. Not being mean, but that's too much to dump on someone so early in a relationship. Also, 6 months is not an anniversary. That is half an anniversary.
YDI for being selfish. How about instead of complaining about your life you do something about his obvious self-hate and depression. FHL, his girlfriend is pathetic. Hey, anyone else notice that ANNUAL (yearly) is the base word of anniversary?
you need to dump him, he is obviously unstable. punching himself repeatdly in the face should tip you off that he may become abusive towards you in the future. I am telling you this from experiance, don't let things progress into a situation you can't handle.
So it's HER fault he's mentally unstable?! Yeah, right.
Anniversaries are yearly. Not monthly.
Stop being a fat greedy bitch, bitch.
i just really love the "repeatedly punched himself in the face" part. LULZ WORTHY!
my boyfriend and i are both 23 and have been together 9 months. we went out and did something special for our 6 month anniversary. i think it comes down to the individual what you want to celebrate, but make sure they know you want to celebrate it. however, anyone who punches themselves in the face is very unstable, especially for a teenager. PROTECT YOURSELF!
