Switch to Linux, and stop being one of the many idiots that doesn't know how to pick decent software.
sadly rhose that work in technical support usually don't have any technical skills and just end up going through basic procedures from a list handed to them. If all of them fail you should get help later on from an "expert" later if you continue the ticket. Sucks for u OP but dw we've all been there and will face it again eventually.
