Today, my 15-year-old daughter's pregnancy test came back positive. I wanted to know who the father is, so I could sit the two of them down to talk the situation through with them. She isn't sure if it's her best friend, or our neighbor's son. FML

Sounds like your daughter and you need to have a real long talk about self respect and loyalty if she was Dateing either of them

Sounds like a case for the Maury Povich show.

Good luck, that sounds like an ugly situation. Hope it all works out

Kind of too late for a talking to... but I'm sure that Maury Povich would LOVE to have you as guests on his show! "15 and a total ****" Or you could go on MTV "Teen Mom"... either way, you kinda dropped the ball when raising your kid

Yeah I don't know who the father of my oldest is. Rape kinda puts a damper on knowing that kind of stuff. Just saying.

Why did you feel the need to share this..?

Seriously!? This isn't a rape story

I don't know if I should go with YDI or FYL. I mean. You could've done a better job raising her, educating her, or even awkwardly give her some birth control pills if you had any thoughts that she was sexually active. But it could be FYl because now you'll have to pay for either an abortion or a baby. Side note: a bit strange that I, a 16 year old girl raised by shitty parents who just assume all their kids are sexually active despite anything they say and make jokes about it instead of confronting them, am suggesting ways you could have prevented this...

It might not be OPs fault. I know when my sister and I were teenagers both of our parents gave us "The Talk." Even our cousin did. But, even with all that my sister made her own stupid choice of getting Pregnant at 16. Maybe OP did teach her how to prevent this. She just chose to not listen.

You're obviously a failure as a parent.

Damnn one of the worse things a parent has to go through.. I wish u the best
