Today, my 15-year-old son told me that he and his new girlfriend are deeply in love and are meant for each other. The "girlfriend" in question? My fiancé's 12-year old daughter. FML

That's one way of keeping it in the family

Don't forbid them, that will only make them want to do it more. Be overly accepting of it, go on "double dates", and just annoy the hell out of them until they get uncomfortable and break up

could, but probably won't. No one wants to double date with mom and dad.

You do not have a boyfriend. You are simply trying on the IDEA of having a boyfriend. In the long run, though, it's most likely not going to work out.

Make a bet with him. first to marry one of them the other has to break up. winner gets a cookie. kids can't resist cookies.

well ya know there's no risk of genetic mutation with step sisters just saying

no step kid issues there , good luck with that.

They may also just be trolling you guys because they don't want you to get married. Immature yes, but it's what teens do sometimes...

Thank you! I was looking for this comment. I honestly think that the kids aren't in love, just trying to stall the parents wedding. Granted, I don't know the situation, But at 12 and 15, I definitely wasn't looking for my "soul mate."

Hey keeping it in the family that's nice arty least there not blood related only law wise

That's going to be awkward in the future
