Today, my 15-year-old son told me that he and his new girlfriend are deeply in love and are meant for each other. The "girlfriend" in question? My fiancé's 12-year old daughter. FML

That is going to make one hell of an awkward family dinner!

So it's bad when a 15-year-old guy loves a 12-year-old, but not when a 17-year-old loves a 14-year-old?

I don't think there is anything necessarily wrong with a 15 year old loving a 12 year old, the problem is that there probably aren't that many things on this earth hornier than a 15 year old boy, and a 12 year old girl, however physically developed she might appear, is Not ready for the attentions of a 15 year old boy., it could actually be a threat to her health, since pregnancies at that age are often fraught with complications.

What if it's just a setup? Maybe the kids don't like either you or your fiance and they are trying to keep you two from getting married. You never know..

Not all 12-year-olds look like children. My cousin started puberty at 9. At age 12 she was 5'7", had D breasts, and definitely LOOKED like a fully grown adult. That doesn't mean she was mentally capable of being with an older guy, even though she was hit on A LOT by teens and adults alike. My problem with this is age difference, not the incest (which isn't incest at all).

Next thing you know they're gonna be on the Maury show.

Oh no that suck how ya gonna break it to him

Theyre kids. Let them be kids. They may be deeply in love with someone else next week. Or maybe not. But in any case talk with them over the boudarys since sexual contact is actually illegal between them. (in my country until she is 14) And for gods sake explain the importance of protection to your son.

Hey we let two boys marry, I think we are past the point of saying no to much of any kind of marriage these days lol
