Fortunato_18 tells us more.
Just a couple of points I wanna touch on: 1) the shag rug: haha not my choice! It came with my apartment, where the rug is one of the least awful things about it. 2) I know I should have had the nail polish out of reach, but we were planning on painting my daughters nails as soon as one of us got the chance. She's never done anything like that before so I didn't think to lock it up. We did have a chat about it though, and it hasn't been an issue since (this happened a few weeks ago) 3)Thank you for the removal tips! Hopefully I can find one that works :)

When I was 3 my mum left some nail varnish next to the kitchen sink from the night before. For some reason I picked it up and tried to drink it. All I know is that nail varnish doesn't taste very nice.
Wait until it's makeup!!
Nail polish and nail polish remover have got to be two of the most toxic substances in the world because of the fumes they give off.
Right I'm a clumsy person with white carpets and hairspray will remove even black nail varnish. Even when it's fully dried in. Just saturate and scrub. Use cheap hairspray though! Also gets gloss paint out of clothes!
Gets pen ink out of anything as well. Had my first husky steal a purple pen. She broke it almost immediately. Purple ink was everywhere, including on her. That was a fun day. Good luck op.
And why is bail polish in reach of a child?
Some kids are better at climbing then others. Some can open "child locks". My DD is a terror NOTHING is out of reach.
How cute... Next time maybe some assistance would be good...hope you can get it out...
You shouldn't let your kid anywhere near nailpolish..
Knowing is half the battle! G. I. Joe!
